Alfredo Pasta

Allow your inner Italian to take control of the kitchen to prepare this stunning Pasta Alfredo! It’s simple to make, impressive to serve and delicious to eat!

All that’s really left to say is “Buon Appetito”!

  • 220g pappardelle or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp plain flour
  • 470ml Whole a2 Milk™
  • 2 zucchinis, sliced thinly into ribbons
  • 60g pecorino or Manchego cheese (sheep’s milk cheese), grated
  • Cracked black pepper, to serve


  • In boiling water cook the pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Whilst the pasta is cooking, heat up oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat.
  • Fry the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add the bacon and thyme, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Gradually sprinkle in the flour whilst stirring to combine the ingredients.
  • Remove from the heat and slowly pour in a2 Milk™. Stir constantly to avoid lumps!
  • Return back to the heat and simmer for 4-5minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  • Add the courgette ribbons and some salt and pepper to taste, then cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the cooked, drained pasta and cheese.
  • Serve immediately, with fresh cracked black pepper. Buon Appetito!
