Strawberry Granola Tart

The best way to your loved ones heart, is through their tummy! So, why not make your loved one a delicious chocolatey treat to win their heart? This chocolate and strawberry Granola tart is a little bit naughty but very very nice.

Made with a2 Milk™, dark chocolate and juicy strawberries, you don’t get more delectable than this.

It’s the perfect recipe for love!

Serving: Makes 8 mini tarts

Ingredients

  • 150g jumbo oats
  • 70g almond flakes (or chopped hazelnuts)
  • 2 tbsp dried apricots, finely chopped
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil,melted
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 150g high-quality 72% dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 50ml Semi-Skimmed a2 Milk™
  • 4 tbsp freeze-dried strawberry crumble
  • 4 strawberries, halved, to decorate

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • In a large bowl, mix the oats, almonds, apricots, melted coconut oil, maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt together until well combined.
  • With the help of your hands, press evenly about 2-3 tbsp of the mixture into 8 sprayed with oil mini tart tins.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15 min, or until golden and crisp. Once ready, remove from the oven, and press the center of each tart with the back of a spoon to help reshape them (they usually puff a bit whilst baking).
  • In the meantime, prepare the chocolate filling. Arrange chopped chocolate in a large bowl. Heat a2 Milk™ until hot, then gently pour over the chocolate, mixing with a spatula until creamy and smooth.
  • Allow to cool completely in their tins before removing them. With the help of a sharp knife, carefully take the tarts out of their tins. The crust is very delicate so make sure to be gentle during the process.
  • Fill each tart evenly with 2-3 tbsp of chocolate ganache. Arrange half strawberry on top of each tart, and sprinkle with freeze-dried strawberry crumble. Serve immediately!
