Great for baking, making ice cream or just to stir into your morning coffee, making your own condensed milk at home is easier than you think – All you need is your favourite a2 Milk™ and sugar!

Serving: 2 cups
Step 1: In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, mix together the milk and sugar. Heat over low heat and gently whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
Step 2: Turn up the heat to low-medium and heat the milk and sugar mixture until just steaming and starting to foam, then reduce to low heat. Whenever foam forms, remove with a slotted spoon.
Step 3: Continue to simmer for about 45 minutes, whisking occasionally, until the milk has reduces by more than half, and has thickened. When the milk mixture reaches a creamy, dense consistency, your condensed milk is ready.
Step 4: Allow to cool completely, than pour the homemade condensed milk into a clean airtight.
