Looking for an exciting way to get your 5 a day? The Rainbow Smoothie is the Queen of all smoothies.

Loaded with a variety of healthy fruits it’s jam packed full of flavour which will tantalise your taste buds with each layer. There’s no added sugar and best of all, because it’s made with fresh a2 Milk™, it’s naturally free from the A1 protein.

 Top Tip: Pop the glass in the fridge whilst you’re preparing the next layer. It keeps the smoothie mix chilled, and it makes it much easier to layer each colour.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

Orange Layer:

  • 150g mango chunks
  • 100ml Fresh Semi-Skimmed a2 Milk™

Pink Layer:

  • 120g frozen raspberries
  • 50g frozen banana chunks
  • 100ml Fresh Semi-Skimmed a2 Milk™

Purple layer:

  • 60g frozen blackberries
  • 40g fresh blueberries
  • 50ml Fresh Semi-Skimmed a2 Milk™

Green Layer:

  • 120g baby spinach leaves
  • 50g frozen banana chunks
  • 50ml Fresh Semi-Skimmed a2 Milk™

Directions

  • Start with the orange layer of the smoothie. In a powerful blender, place mango and frozen banana chunks, then add a2 Milk™. Blend until smooth and pour into 2 glasses.
  • A top tip is to place the glasses in the fridge (or in the freezer for up to 2 minutes) in between each layer preparation. This will help to keep the layers separate and your drink nicely chilled!
  • Rinse the blender, and fold in frozen raspberries, frozen banana chunks and a2 Milk™. Blend until frothy and pour over the orange layer.
  • Rinse the blender, and fold in frozen blackberries, blueberries, frozen banana chunks and a2 Milk™. Blend until frothy and pour over the pink layer.
  • Rinse the blender once again, and fold in baby spinach, banana chunks and a2 Milk™. Blend until smooth and pour over the purple layer and serve immediately.
