Summer’s finally here, so with the kids begging for something to do and sunny days, it’s the perfect time to think about making a few lifestyle changes.

A good night’s sleep, regular exercise and eating the right foods are at the centre of health and wellness.

So, we’ve got a few top tips to help you ‘milk’ your summer and hopefully you’ll pick up some healthy habits along the way.

Swap out your summer drinks

Believe in better and skip the sugary fizzy drinks. Instead, why not enjoy a refreshing glass of a2 Milk™ – the only cows’ milk that naturally contains the A2 protein. You can switch up the flavours by stirring in a spoonful of tasty pureed fruit. Our favourites are mango and strawberry!

Start an outdoor after-dinner family activity

Whether you’re heading out for a bike ride, visiting the local pool or taking the dog for a walk, getting out and about in the fresh air and sunshine is sure to burn a few calories whilst having a great time. Be sure to snap a few photos of you all having a blast!

Make your water more flavourful

We all know we need to drink more water, especially on hot summer days. The NHS recommends that we drink up to 3-6 glasses of fluid per day so why not make it a little bit more exciting? Find a new active hobby

Summer activities for all ages are in full swing. Could this be the summer you join the local cricket team, take a few tennis lessons or learn how to ride a horse? Whatever your new hobby is, find a six to eight-week program that works for you and then try stick to it!

Set up a sleep routine

With school holidays and the longer days, it’s so easy to fall out of a bedtime routine. Set a reminder on your mobile-phone to start winding down an hour before you want to hit the sack.
